Business forum in Kavadarci on Hungarian investment opportunities
A business forum was held today in Kavadarci, businessmen from Tikvesh were introduced to Hungarian opportunities for investment and cooperation. Mayor Mitko Janchev and András Klein, ambassador of Hungary, also attended the forum.
We are discussing cooperation between municipalities from the two countries, cooperation in the area of the economy, said, among other things, the mayor Mitko Janchev.
The ambassador added that they had a very fruitful working meeting with the mayor and expressed satisfaction with the realization of the business forum together with the Hungarian cooperation agency.
“We discussed several things with the mayor, we expressed the possibility of cooperation, primarily in the field of economy. The HEPA agency presents businessmen from the Tikva region with opportunities for their cooperation with businessmen from Hungary,” underlined the ambassador in a statement to the media.
He added that Hungary presides over the European Union and one of their goals is to help us get closer to the EU, to help the countries of the Western Balkans for faster access to the Union.
Before the forum, the ambassador and the mayor met in the municipal building.
“The main emphasis was placed on the plans of the municipality in using the funds that Macedonia received as a loan from Hungary. The possibility of cooperation in the field of culture and education was also discussed. In front of the representatives of the business sector, at the forum whose main goal is the economic cooperation between the two countries, Bojan Janakievski presented about HEPA (Hungarian Chamber of Commerce) and its services with the possibility of cooperation in Macedonia”, Janchev’s office announced.
